The Henry Clay chapter is under official National Honor Society criteria and dedicated to the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.
Throughout the year, NHS works to incorporate service in the school and community through various service projects. If you have any need for help or enthusiastic high school volunteers, please contact us!
To be a part of NHS: In the spring semester of your junior year, if you're in the top 15% of your class, you will receive an invitation to apply. Once you apply and are accepted, you'll receive induction information, and that ceremony takes place in the spring. After those inductions, new elections take place.
Once you're a senior, the application will be invited to the top 20% of your class, if not already a part of NHS. The same critera for the application applies, and if accepted, you will be inducted and become a part of the senior class of NHS.
